What does iGalenus do with NOM-004 and NOM-024?

Before signing, the note goes through a NOM-004 review: the system checks the elements the regulation requires for the record, flags what is missing with a direct link to the empty field and calculates a quality score from 0 to 100. The signed note becomes immutable and only accepts an addendum with date, time and responsible person. NOM-024-SSA3-2012 is addressed as a support guide: the audit center reviews identity, structure, integrity, access control and catalogs, with a PDF report to guide your own audit. iGalenus is not NOM-024 certified.

Does the system stop me from signing an incomplete note?

No. The review is advisory, not blocking: you can finalize anyway. Clinical judgment rules, but the omission is documented and the monthly quality average is visible in the practice's statistics.

Who can see a patient's record?

Only whoever you authorize. You define each team member's permissions, and every time a record is opened it's logged in the access log with user, record and time. The log can be exported as CSV for an audit.

Where does my patients' data live?

On Amazon Web Services infrastructure, with encryption in transit and backup. iGalenus maintains an information security management system with a risk register, document control, and backup restore testing.

What happens with artificial intelligence and clinical data?

AI transcribes the dictation, suggests where each data point goes and writes draft interpretations, but never signs. The physician reviews and confirms before anything enters the note, and the quality score is always calculated by the system in a reproducible way, not by the model.
